Early Practice Sessions

SPYKE (1970)

These recordings were made in Ian's Lounge - "live" and straight into one microphone, great fun and a treasure to hear Chris singing "raw". Sadly he passed away in April 2010. He's very much missed by all who came into contact with him.

She's just Looking For You
The Days The Months The Years
Peter received a call at 10:30pm one evening in 1985 asking him if he could play bass on "She is Looking For You" that Chris had just written.
He eventually got into bed at 3:00am!
The final number, "The Days The Months The Years" again written by Chris around 1976 was recorded by all members of SPYKE in a friends studio. It was done in "one take" to give him production practice. I think he needed it but we all enjoyed the experience.
